ABOUT THE BAND

Music fans are looking for something new; to get something unexpected in their music experience. The Chubby Knuckle Choir hailing from Central Texas offers such an experience.

The name Chubby Knuckle Choir came from former bass man, and original member Curtis Farley in a comedic moment, while working in Twisted Twig Studio with current members Perry Lowe and Rory Smith. Their style is categorized as Blues Rock but it often crosses several genres...so they call it Acid Funk-Soulgrass.

With thoughtfully crafted tunes and lyrics that catch you off guard with their clarity and brutal honesty, the band delivers quality entertainment without any pretense and takes things back to the days of accessible, self-deprecating live shows.

With a fresh approach but continuing the formula of unique instrumentation, all are singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists who come from varying musical and geographical backgrounds, which is embraced by the band to encourage diversity of thought in their music.
